What is Boditonic Derma Oil?
A nutritional skincare oil for face and body. Each formula starts with organic cold-pressed sesame oil, cured through our proprietary process, and adds aromatherapeutic-grade essential oils. There are three formulas, Energizing, Calming, and Grounding, so you can choose the state you want for the day.
Why sesame oil?
Our sesame oil is pressed from mineral-rich (zinc, magnesium, iron, copper, phosphorus and potassium) sesame seeds, and is naturally rich in vitamin E, omega-6 and omega-9, and the antioxidants sesamin and sesamolin. It has been the oil of choice for Ayurvedic daily oil massage for thousands of years. On skin, it moisturizes, softens, and improves the look and feel of dry, weathered skin. We cold-press ours, never heat-extract it, so it retains all the beautiful nutritional components that make it worth using.
What's in each formula?
- Energizing: organic cold-pressed sesame oil with essential oils of fresh ginger, lemongrass, ylang ylang, and vetiver. Bright and spicy-citrus with a warm, earthy finish.
- Calming: organic cold-pressed sesame oil with essential oils of lavender, Roman chamomile, and ylang ylang. Soft floral and herbal.
- Grounding: organic cold-pressed sesame oil with essential oils of neroli, bergamot, black spruce, and sandalwood. Radiant floral over a woody, forest base.
No parabens. No preservatives.

Is it vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes. Boditonic is 100% vegan and cruelty-free.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Boditonic is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive. As with any new skincare, patch test first.
I have a sesame allergy. Can I use it?
Every Boditonic formula is made with sesame oil. If you're allergic to sesame, please don't use it.
Using it
How do I use it?
Start slow, especially if it's your first time. Less is more to get started, so try just half a pump into your hand to gauge how far it gets you. Massage into face, neck, and body. Use it daily, morning or evening, as a foundational step in your overall skincare routine.
Can I use it on my face?
Yes. Derma Oil is made for face, neck, and body.
Will it feel greasy?
No. Our curing process helps it absorb quickly and entirely, leaving no greasy residue. So you are free to utilize other products within your skincare routine or simply keep moving through your day or evening.
Can I use it with my other skincare, sunscreen, or makeup?
Yes. Because Boditonic fully absorbs into your skin you can certainly utilize other products, like your existing sunscreen, and makeup. It serves as the nutritional foundation for healthy skin and is designed to work with your routine rather than replacing it.
Sizes and freshness
Which size should I get?
The 50 ml bullet is made to go anywhere you do: the beach, the mountains, the gym, the pool, the slopes. The 250 ml bottle lasts about two months for most people with daily use, and it's the one to use daily from your vanity or countertop and refill your travel bullet from.
What's the shelf life?
Our shelf-life testing has shown results of three years or better.
What is the bottle made of?
Both sizes come in an aluminum pump bottle.

Where do you ship, and how much does it cost?
We ship within the United States. Shipping is free on orders of $50 or more, and a flat $10 under $50. Orders are typically processed within 1 business day and arrive in 3 to 4 business days after they ship.

What's your return policy?
You can return unopened, unused products within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. If anything arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, let us know within 7 days and we'll replace or refund it at no cost.
